How are stucco plaster products manufactured?
Plaster products are usually cast using negative molds. This allows us to ensure consistent, high quality. Furthermore, it means that we can offer you an almost endless selection of dimensions if required and in consultation with our workshop. Custom-made products provide you with your product in exactly the right dimensions for your home.
Now to plaster production:
Plaster consists of calcium sulfate and, if it is not produced as a byproduct of many chemical processes, such as in the production of citric acid, tartaric acid, or oxalic acid, it is obtained by precipitation from sulfuric acid water with milk of lime or limestone. In liquid form, it can then be brought into any desired pattern and shape before it hardens. This results in our diverse product range, which extends from small stucco elements, to stucco mouldings , and even imposing columns and pilasters.
